Setting up ClickGhost
1. User Agents
There is a default list of User Agents provided with your installation. You may edit the list to fit your needs. You can Add, Delete or Edit User Agents.
All the User Agents are stored in useragents.txt in the Program Directory, one User Agents per line.
2. Proxy Servers
It is very important that you use several Proxy Servers.
You can get Proxies at:
All the Proxies are stored in proxies.txt in the Program Directory, one Proxy per line (eg. IP;PORT;USERNAME;PASSWORD).
If there is no Username and Password, put "none" in there as placeholder.
3. General Settings
- Seconds till next visit (max/min)
Defines the maximum/minimum waiting time untill the next visit should start. ClickGhost will pick a random duration between those two values each time it starts a new visit. - Seconds till next click (max/min)
Defines the maximum/minimum waiting time between the clicks in a click sequence. - Click Rate
Defines the possibility of playing a click sequence. (eg. 1:1000 => every 1000. visit will end in a click sequence)
4. Click Bot
This is the main part of the configuration. You should really take care about this section.
- Type the Url of your website into "Url" and click "Load URL".
- Your website will be displayed on the left.
- Add a Click Sequence and name it.
- Add Click Range.
- Select the Click Range.
- Click on your displayed website and move your mouse (while holding the left mouse button clicked).
- Release the left mouse button.
- A rectangle is visible on your website.
- Draw the rectangle exactly on the region where you want ClickGhost to click.
- Update the Url, it has to match the link that the rectangle is pointing to.
- Click "Load Url".
- Repeat 4 to 11 as often as you like.
- Of course you can add more Click Sequences, too. Don't forget to add Click Regions to each Click Sequence.
What will ClickGhost do with the defined Click Sequences?
Let's say that we have defined a Click Rate of 1:1000. With a chance of .01 percent ClickGhost will start a Click Sequence. Every other time ClickGhost will visit the website, remain a random amount of seconds (defined in General Settings) on the website and start all over. As soon as that 0.01 percent takes affect, ClickGhost will randomly choose a Click Sequence and simulate the Click Range (top-down).
5. Start / Stop
Use the Start/Stop buttons to start/stop the clickengine. Make sure you configured everything as described before you start the clickengine.
